Reading Log
I love reading, and my favorite genres are science fiction, historical fiction, dystopian, and classical books. I also dabble here and there reading technical books to further my knowledge.
As for my all-time favorite book, it would have to be Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes, which follows an intellectually disabled man given a drug that makes him the smartest man in the world, and his journey processing his past and reconciling with the future. I would like to not spoil too much, but I should warn that the ending is extremely sad.
The Count Of Monte Cristo
I have been recommended this book by many of my friends, so I aim to read this book right after finishing The Iliad.
Great Expectations
A very interesting book about a boy who finds himself given the opportunity of a lifetime. Currently on Part 3 of the book (which is the last part), and I hope to finish it by the end of 2026
The Iliad
Prequel to the movie that is packed with action and themes about the all-powerful Greek gods.
The Odyssey
Absolutely fantastic story detailing Odysseyus return to Ithaca.
⭐ Flowers For Algernon
My all-time favorite book, showing an emotional story about a man with special needs being given a miracle drug that makes him intelligent. 10/10 would recommend this book to everyone.
Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep
Dystopian book, showing a grim future of where androids live among humans, after a catastrophic event kills animal life on Earth.
Brave New World
Grim dystopian book showing a future where humans are no longer born, rather created and nurtured to remove individualism and instill group think.
The Adventures of Tom Sawyer
A fun, old book that recounts the mischavious activities of Tom Sawyer. I highly recommend reading this book.
Kalman and Bayesian Filters in Python
Working through sensor fusion fundamentals for flight-control work. I aim to use this knowledge to one day write my own extended kalman filter for UAVs.
